Give a child a chance is launching a new fundraising appeal to help transform the play area at The Terraces, Mount Gould hospital into a peaceful & tranquil area.
The hope is to create a safe and relaxing zone for individual and group intervention for SEN children and their parents & carers. The area will also be used to host gardening therapeutic group sessions and much more.
The grow zone garden will reflect the growth of plants and nature but also various aspects of growth for the children that use it.
To transform the current play area, we need a minimum of £2,000 – this will help to fund the following:
A mixture of bright and colourful plants and pots
Fruit trees & herb gardens
Bird feeders and bath tables
Raised flower beds
A bug hotel & butterfly house
Wind chimes and spinners
